State of Prayers is a small, public wall where people can share prayer requests and carry one another. The site only works if the wall stays a place worth visiting. These are the simple expectations of everyone who posts here.
What belongs here
- Sincere prayer requests — for yourself, for someone you love, for strangers, for the world.
- Gratitude and prayers of thanks.
- Honest grief, fear, doubt, joy — any real human moment.
- Follow-ups that share how things are going, in any tone.
What doesn't belong here
We remove content that includes any of the following:
- Harassment or targeting of named individuals. You can pray about a difficult relationship; you can't post someone's name with the intent to embarrass, accuse, or harm them.
- Hate speech. Anything that demeans a person or group based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, or disability.
- Explicit threats of violence, against yourself or anyone else.
- Sexual content, especially anything involving or directed at minors. Content sexualizing minors will result in immediate removal and possible reporting to law enforcement.
- Calls for self-harm, content that encourages others to harm themselves, or detailed descriptions of methods.
- Promotional content — links, advertisements, fundraising for unrelated causes, recruitment for groups or movements.
- Spam — repeated submissions, irrelevant text, content unrelated to prayer.
- Misuse of others' identities — submitting prayers in someone else's name without their consent, impersonating real people.
- Submissions from users under 16. The site is intended for users aged 16 and older. We will remove content that strongly suggests the writer is under that age.
What we will do
- Most prayers go to the wall automatically. A small set of submissions are held for human review before they appear.
- A human reviews every flagged or held prayer. Usually within 24 hours.
- We make mistakes. If a prayer of yours was removed and you believe it shouldn't have been, write to us at info@stateofprayers.com. A real person will look at it.
- We will not edit your prayer. We may remove it, or we may publish it. We never rewrite it.
What we ask of you when you read
When you tap I will pray, please do it — in whatever way is yours. The button is a small promise. The site only matters if those promises are kept.
If you see something on the wall that breaks these guidelines, tap the small flag link on that prayer. A moderator will review it.
Thank you for being here. The wall is open.
